Here are 2 of the talks presented by Wallaroo Staff on 13 November at the conference in UCC, Play Matters – exploring children’s play worlds: A one-day conference to mark the 30th anniversary of Wallaroo Playschool, Cork. The first is by Joanie Barron, Wallaroo’s Project Co-ordinator, and the next is by Caroline O’Callaghan, the Childcare Manager for both the ECCE Session and the Mid-Morning Session.

We were very pleased with the day, happy to get a chance to talk about the work we have been doing here at Wallaroo, and to contribute on the day to the many meritable contributions in the debate on the value of play.
